3M™ VHB™ Tape 4919F, Black, 1 in x 72 yd, 25 mil, Film Liner, 9 Roll/Case
3M™ VHB™ Tape 4919F is a multipurpose acrylic bonding agent made with a conformable foam core that adheres quickly and permanently to a variety of thin, lightweight, and dissimilar materials. Because of its strong holding power, it can replace rivets, welds, and screws while saving time and labor associated with traditional bonding methods, such as welding, screwing, grinding, and project cleanup. The fast and easy-to-use application offers concealed joining to give a quality outcome within a range of industries, including construction, electronics, signage, general industrial, and many more. 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4919F has high adhesion to metals, glass, paints, plastics, and plasticized vinyl enabling the pressure-sensitive adhesive to stick instantly in challenging environments where water, moisture, heat, cold, and chemicals are present. Not only does it seal tightly for long-term durability, performing in short-term use at a temperature up to 300 °F (149 °C) or long-term use withstanding up to 200 °F (93 °C) but it also has excellent plasticizer resistance. Offering high conformability and reliability, use it for decorative trim, nameplates, logos, electronic displays, panel-to-frame, and stiffener-to-panel operations.

Additional Product Information: The 3M™ VHB™ 4941 Tape lineup is a permanent attachment system engineered for challenging applications. The portfolio comprises different tape thicknesses to offer project flexibility that match up with the type of substrate being used. Serving as a reliable and adaptable family of products used to securely join medium to high (HSE) and medium (MSE) surface energy materials, the appropriate thickness of tape depends on the rigidity of the substrate and their flatness irregularity. For bonding rigid materials that are relatively flat, a tape thickness of 45 mils (1.1 mm) or greater is ideal. As the substrate flexibility increases, a thinner tape can be used. Engineered for the most critical applications and thoroughly tested to resist high wind loads and vibration, the all-acrylic and closed-cell construction helps deliver productivity, convenience, and improved appearance. When looking for a 3M™ VHB™ Tape for your application requirements, there are many aspects to consider, and a 3M adhesion expert can help you select the correct tape for your next project.
